The Iranians boasted about the capabilities of their ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and drones used in the attack and claimed that contrary to reports by the US and Israel, two targets in Israel had been hit in the attack. The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps Aerospace Unit also claimed that they have stronger weapons and warned Israel against continuing its aggression against Iranian targets.

Brigadier-General Ali Belali hosted CNN’s Fred Pleitgen claimed that the Imad and Ghadr missiles used in the attack, which have a range of 1000 miles and can carry a warhead of 50 tons of explosives, were extremely accurate and even managed to hit an airbase in Israel.

The Shahed 136, the drone used by Iran, is reportedly the drone which has been supplied by Iran to Russia and is being used against Ukrainian cities.
