ISRAEL (VINnews) — Nikki Haley arrived in Israel on Sunday, for a diplomatic and humanitarian visit.

The former presidential candidate, governor, and ambassador to the UN, was greeted on the tarmac by Knesset member Danny Danon, who also served as Israel’s ambassador to the UN.
She is scheduled to meet with returned hostages, IDF soldiers who fought on October 7, as well as survivors of the Hamas massacre.

Haley’s itinerary will include a comprehensive tour of the Gaza Envelope and the northern border, areas that have faced intense security challenges. In addition, Haley will hold meetings with senior government and security officials.
As ambassador under Trump, Haley was a staunch supporter of Israel and a vocal critic of the UN, who was involved in defunding the Palestinians. Danon is expected to accompany her throughout her visit.
