NEW YORK – A Kentucky woman was arrested and charged with a hate crime after launching into an antisemitic tirade and physically attacking a Jewish man inside a Midtown Manhattan office building.

Noora Shalash, 39, was charged with aggravated harassment as a hate crime following the Thursday incident at 950 Third Ave., where she was caught on camera berating a Hasidic Jewish man.
Video footage shows Shalash shouting profanities and making violent threats, including, “F— the Jews, I love Jesus… I demand Jihad! I want ISIS to kill all of you! I am conspiring with Hamas, Palestinian Jihad and with ISIS!” She also struck Bell multiple times and attempted to kick him, according to police.

Seth Bell, 46, who recorded the incident, said he heard Shalash shouting about Jews and the Middle East as he entered the building. “She was equating some random Jewish guy with what was going on in the Middle East, which is classic antisemitism,” he told reporters.
Security officers at the building called the police, and Shalash was taken into custody before being transported to Bellevue Hospital for a psychological evaluation.
Following the attack, an X account identified Shalash as the “director of government affairs” for the Kentucky chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), a controversial Muslim advocacy group. CAIR swiftly denied the claim, stating that Shalash had not been affiliated with their Kentucky chapter in five years.
It remains unclear why Shalash was in New York. Bell said no one not required medical attention.
Shalash was arraigned in Manhattan Criminal Court on Saturday.
The incident is the latest in a surge of antisemitic attacks in New York City, where Jewish residents have increasingly found themselves the targets of harassment and violence.

Nora, or whatever her name is, it’s clearly mentally ill. I work with mentally ill people everyday and her behavior fits the criteria of mental illness quite easily.
Mental illness aside, it has unmasked all the niceties of public decorum and exposed the rotten core of who she is and the religion she represents.
It is NYC so nothing will happen to her she will get a slap on the wrist.
