JERUSALEM (VINnews)-Israel’s Foreign Minister Gideon Saar hailed the Gaza ceasefire and hostage release as “a holiday within a holiday,” celebrating what he called a historic victory after two years of war.

Saar said Israel “crushed Hamas and Hezbollah, struck Iran’s nuclear program, toppled Assad, and brought home the hostages under near-impossible conditions.”
He also thanked President Trump for his role in brokering the latest deal, calling him “a great friend of Israel.”
“In recent times, we have waged countless diplomatic holding battles,” Saar said. “They are not over. I intend to work in the near future to break new ground in the international arena.
Raise your heads with pride. The eternity of Israel will not falter.”
