JERUSALEM (VINnews) — A situation that is hard to believe is unfolding now in the Rafah area of Gaza. With the ceasefire taking effect and the IDF withdrawing to the Yellow Line, some 200 Hamas terrorists are “stuck” in territory that remains under Israeli control in the southern Gaza Strip. Channel N12 learned on Monday morning that Israel is expected to soon approve the return of those fighters to Palestinian-controlled territory, provided they agree to lay down their weapons.

According to Al Jazeera, the terrorists are trapped in several pockets under Israeli control, some of them in underground tunnels. Finance Minister and Minister in the Defense Ministry Bezalel Smotrich reacted to the reports’ stating: “Mr. Prime Minister, this is complete madness — stop it.”

Three IDF soldiers have fallen in the Gaza Strip since the ceasefire went into effect, all in the Rafah area. Two security sources told N12 that the political leadership will approve the return of the terrorists, in part because this unusual step would allow better protection of the lives of soldiers positioned in the area. Another rationale is that the return of the terrorists would enable Israel to search for additional fallen or kidnapped persons who may be there.

“We are doing this to protect the lives of our soldiers and to disarm them on their own ground. This will also allow us to search for additional hostages,” said one security source. The second source added: “Once they agree to lay down their weapons there and to move through in an unarmed manner, they are no longer defined as militants.”

Another idiotic mistake? Not when such mistakes happen consistently for over five decades. At some point it becomes obvious that such mistakes are done on purpose.
    It’s a feature, not a bug!
The Israeli secularist establishment is not interested in victory. They goal is to manage decline.
The Israeli secularist elites are clearly betraying us yet again, and Bibi can’t offer us anything more than tough speeches.
    Next time vote Ben Gvir.

“Sure. We will lay down our weapons and never, ever ever pick up a gun or a bomb or a knife again. Wouldn’t dream of threatening another human being. Never have. We are just nice guys, peace-loving family men. Just get us out of these dungeons. They are absoutely awful!!”
And the soft Jewish hearts feel soooo bad, (and they capitulate to stupid American pressure) and have rachmanus on these sworn murderers.
“Oops. We didn’t really mean what we said a little bit ago.
    Axxah Akhbar!”
