Netanyahu Offers Condolences to Family of Fallen IDF Col. Asaf Hamami, Returned From Hamas Captivity

JERUSALEM (VINnews) — Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke Sunday with the family of Col. Asaf Hamami, of blessed memory, whose body was returned from Hamas captivity the previous day.

The prime minister conveyed condolences on his behalf, on behalf of his wife Sara and on behalf of the entire nation of Israel, saying he embraces the dear family members.

Hamami’s mother, Clara, thanked IDF fighters, the security forces and the prime minister for returning Asaf, of blessed memory, for proper burial in Israel.

Netanyahu is expected to speak in the coming hours with the families of Staff Sgt. Oz Daniel, of blessed memory, and Capt. Omer Neutra, of blessed memory.
