HAIFA, ISRAEL (VINnews) — The Israel Defense Forces and the U.S. Navy’s 5th Fleet wrapped up a five-day bilateral drill dubbed “Intrinsic Defender” on Wednesday, the IDF announced.

The exercise took place in the Mediterranean Sea — including Haifa Bay and waters off Nahariya — as well as in the Red Sea.
According to the military, the drill focused on strengthening longstanding cooperation between the two navies, improving responses to maritime threat scenarios, and sharing operational knowledge.
