“A short while ago, the IDF struck an additional Hezbollah terrorist in the area of Sebline,” the military said in a statement.
Sebline is located approximately 40 kilometers (25 miles) north of the Israeli border, near the coastal city of Sidon.
The strike comes amid ongoing Israeli operations against Hezbollah targets in Lebanon following a ceasefire agreement that ended more than a year of conflict between the two sides.
The IDF has conducted frequent strikes since the November 2024 truce, accusing the Iranian-backed group of violating terms by attempting to rebuild military infrastructure and maintain a presence in areas from which it was required to withdraw.
No immediate reports of casualties or damage from the Sebline strike were available from Lebanese sources. Hezbollah has not commented on the incident.
