The Polish State Prosecution said last week that it would consider pressing charges against historian Jan Tomasz Gross for “insulting the nation” in his book “Fear: Anti-Semitism in Poland after Auschwitz.”
In his book, Gross covers the Kielce pogrom and other instances of post-war violence perpetrated by Poles against Jews. A Polish translation of the book came out last week sparking the current row.

“If they will take me to court, I will bring witnesses, Jews and Poles, to say exactly what happened [in Poland] after the war,” Gross said Monday by phone. “It will be a big scandal.” [haaretz]
At least they now consider charges of anti-Semitism “insulting”. In times past they would have considered such charges to be complimentary.
Any parent that has a pole or mexicana watching their precious ones are out of the freeeking minds.
There are good and bad people among any folks. The Goldhagen book was highly welcomed by many righteous Germans as well. But why have somebody look after your kids at all unless both parents work a full time job? Shoving kids off out of convenience does, IMHO, not bespeak a great deal of care being taken. I work with youths, and see how early childhood parental rejection seriously messes them up. Be glad if a nice ‘goyte’ can give them the affection and care they should be getting from their mothers.
to:9:30 a.m.poles are more charming??????? surely you jest!!!!
How about Polish atrocities that occurred before WWII? My family came to America in 1921 after a pogrom in Poland that saw my great grandfather thrown down a well along with 11 other murdered Jews. Polish anti-Semitism is well-documented as is the encouragement of the Roman Catholic church to persecute Jews in the many shtetls.
Ther Germans weren’t too thrilled with Daniel Goldenhagen’s book either. We can’t let them forget what they did to us.
I hope they take him to court. Then the world can hear what he has to say.
i think we should all boycott the polishe workers including cleaning help. Would u hire a german goyiteh to watch your kids ? i know i wouldnt. poles are no different . The only difference is that the poles are more charming.
