10AM: Mayor Mike Bloomberg is scheduled to hold a news conference on the transit strike.
11AM: the city and MTA will appear in Brooklyn Federal Court to argue before a judge on an new injunction request. They are seeking a restraining order to force the union to halt its strike and return to work ,and to have heavy fines levied against the TWU.
