The 81 year old renowned halachic authority went to see his personal doctor this morning complaining of chest pains, according to Yanky Meyer of Misaskim, who spoke with VIN News from the hospital.
“He was rushed to Maimonides and when he was taken into the cardiac catheterization lab, they had to put him on a respirator,” Meyer told VIN News.
Meyer said that doctors have been performing emergency procedures for over two hours in an effort to treat Rabbi Roth without having to perform open heart surgery.

Oh Hashem! Pls spare this tzadik! Besides his brilliance in Torah &halacha; he has a great heart to all. Such a zeese tzadik! His smile to everyone is refreshing. Please yiddn be mispallel!
Lets all say Thelim for his speedy recovery.
What does it matter if he is a tzadik or not? you should daven for every yiddishe neshuma when they are sick. Whether he is a tzadik or not, is not for us to define, i can personally tell you he wronged me very badly with a psak years ago , and 3 years later he called me to ask mechila ( was very big of him, i have to admit) and i said no, i was very hurt by what he did for me.
Having said that i still daven for him and ask hashem for his speedy recovery.

Dear ChareidiMan………….If you want Hashem to forgive you, then you have to be a FORGIVER as well. What do you mean you’re just a man with flesh and blood? Aren’t we all that? Even Rabbi Roth…. So, being said that, Rabbi Roth can make a mistake too. And to call you to ask for forgivness??? Wow, that’s putting him way “up” there. I beg you to tell Rabbi Roth that you forgive him NOW before it’s too lateCh’V. In the zchis, may Hashem forgive you as well. I’m sure you’ll sleep better at night after you tell him you forgive him. Hatzlocha Rabba.
