Carrier says it has made a deal with President-elect Donald Trump to keep the jobs at its plant in Indiana.
Carrier currently operates one plant in Nuevo Leon and has built but not yet occupied another one there as part of a planned $200 million expansion.
Sen. Marcela Guerra says that “the implications are very serious, not only for Nuevo Leon, but for Carrier.”
In Guerra’s words: “The one who is going to suffer from this is the company … because their products are going to be more expensive.”
And VIN is happy reprinting this garbage.
Of course it’s garbage – it’s AP
If you were one of the 1000 people who was going to loose their jobs, there would be 1000 more on unemployed. The 2 upper comments are ridiculous for they obviously are not having job problems and this is a problem of this country that all the jobs are leaving for all kinds of reasons. 1000 more here is a plus then a minus.
People are not realizing, it’s not only the Carrier jobs but the entire Tiny Town.
All the local groceries and businesses that are only there because of carrier would have been affected.
