Cherry Hill, NJ – No one was injured when a single-engine aircraft made an emergency landing on the New Jersey Turnpike.

Turnpike Authority spokesman Joe Orlando says the plane landed in the northbound lanes in Cherry Hill Monday, about two miles south from Interchange 4.
Orlando says two people are believed aboard. Orlando says officials believe the plane was handling traffic reports for a Philadelphia radio and TV station.
Orlando says police want to get the plane off to the side of the turnpike and it will be loaded onto a truck.

I passed it in the morning, on d way from philly. It was very interesting.
I hear that the NJ State Police gave the pilot a ticket not paying toll.
Take offs are optional. Landings are mandatory.
