Yossi Landau, owner of Landau’s Express was at the Israel Solidarity event in the Nation’s Capital on Tuesday as part of a delegation from ZAKA.
Yes, while Yossi typically spends his days as the owner of Landau’s Express, he is also a ZAKA volunteer who has been on the front lines since October 7.
Towards the end of the rally, singers Ishay Ribo and Omer Adam invited ZAKA’s delegation onto stage as they sang “Vehi Sheamda.”
Yossi was so moved by the incredible achdus he felt at that moment, and decided he is taking action to expand the achdus.
He called ZAKA leadership, and together they just announced that for the next 24 hours, all tickets to this Sunday’s concert will be subsidized by 36% by Landau’s Express.
The star-studded lineup for this Sunday’s concert at the United Palace will feature Yaakov Shwekey, Avraham Fried, Mordechai Shapiro, Benny Friedman, and surprise stars.
Save 36% by using code “VIN36”, and get your tickets before they are sold out!
Why is the concert at United Palace, a church venue (see Wikipedia) ?
That’s very nice. Just curious why specifically the number 36? And who’s/what is Landaus Express? VIN publishes it like it’s so popular and famous, that everyone is supposed to know. Never heard of it before.
If the money is going to Zaka, then how can they be “subsidizing” the tickets – they are literally just taking money from one pocket & putting it in the other!
