MONSEY (VINnews) — A deranged individual spread lies about Evergreen supermarket on WhatsApp groups, falsely claiming that the popular store’s self-checkout kiosk used a profanity when interacting with him. However after analyzing video footage, the store uncovered that the man had entered it himself to set up the store.

On Wednesday, the man went shopping at Evergreen. At the kiosk, he was prompted to enter his name, at which point he entered an expletive.
Once he paid, the kiosk said “Thank You [Expletive]”.
The man took a picture of the message and shared it on social media.
According to Monsey Scoop, “the incident has caused much unnecessary pain and heartache for Evergreen’s managers, highlighting the wreckage that can be caused by an inherently debased individual bent on spreading falsehoods.”
The manager of Evergreen informed Monsey Scoop that the store’s self-checkout kiosks have now been programmed to automatically block any profanity or obscenities entered by shoppers.

Please post a picture of this man’s face. Evergreen can definitely find a clear picture of his face from one of the cameras and possibly even his plate numbers.
I think the police/lawyer should get involved just to shake him up.

While this mashugana is at it, he could have at least brought attention to the horrible parking lot situation where drivers park over the painted lines into the next spot and also leave their shopping carts all around the cars instead of putting it back where it belongs. Not that it’s specific to evergreen. It’s at every “heimishe” shopping center. Bunch of inconsiderate dummies. I say that with all due respect.

The issue isn’t so much the profanity he entered. The bigger problem is his trying to defame and badmouth Evergreen.
I’ve seen worse violations of decency in many posts of VIN.
Let’s take this opportunity as a sign from HaShem that VIN should be more careful about what it posts.
Why are you over reacting to nothing. Why are you demonizing the guy calling him deranged and debased.
