Jerusalem – As worshippers braved the rains and visited the site of the Western Wall on Monday morning, a man burst onto the scene with yells and curses. He railed against Israel’s “occupation,” and then spray-painted the word “Palestine” on the stone wall separating the men’s prayer section from the visitors’ section, and on the barrier adjoining the women’s prayer section.

The man was described by onlookers as being “odd,” News-1 reported. He was arrested by police stationed at the holy site.
Rabbi Shmuel Rabinovitch, Rabbi of the Western Wall and Holy Sites, ordered the graffiti to be cleaned immediately. He expressed sorrow over what he called “the desecration.”
They allow a vandal to spray paint graffiti on the kossel but they are outraged when a woman c’v might seek to daven with a talis/teffilin or dance with a sefer torah???
Why didn’t the paint can set off the alarm at the guards station??
If they can get thru with a can of paint, they can get thru with something much much worse that could set off an explosive. Major security breach in my eyes.
How did it get through security with a pain can??? I coudlt get through without them checking my Tefililm!

why did it take so long for someone to notice a strange guy cursing and spraying graffiti…he should have been nabbed even before he had a chance to start graffiti-ing
If some ‘crazed’ person spray painted Long Live Israel or some other such thing on a holy site in any arab country he’d have been stoned to death and thrown from the roof like trash.
