NEW YORK (VINnews) — The co-host of The ABC talkshow The View, Sunny Hostin, argued during her program that the student protests on US campuses needed to be re-branded as “anti-war protests,” rather than pro-Palestinian or pro-Israel. Hostin also argued that people don’t talk enough about the deaths of Palestinian civilians, and added that the claims of antisemitism within these protests were coming from the far-right.

“So it has never been in my life in my career, criticizing policies of government is equated with antisemitism. And that, I think, is a far-right, it comes from the far-right. It comes from the authoritarian leanings, where they don’t want students on these campuses to voice their opinions because they want to change the narrative going forward. And I think we have to be very, very careful about that,” Hostin claimed.
Hostin was joined by The View’s Whoopi Goldberg, who attacked media criticism of the student protests, terming it ‘clickbait’. Goldberg said there wasn’t enough reporting on “peaceful protesting.”
“Part of our problem is the media takes what is the best clickbait. So, you see the same posters or you see the same people, but you don’t see the folks who are doing peaceful stuff and saying, ‘here’s what we want to do.’ I would caution the media to be very careful about what they’re doing, and how they’re handling this, because what they seem to be doing is pushing a narrative that people are pushing against, which students are pushing against, which I’m thrilled to see, because I like when students get mad and say, ‘we want a change made,’” she said.
Co-hosts Ana Navarro, Sara Haines and Alyssa Farah Griffin condemned the anti-Israel protesters who are engaging in antisemitism, but expressed support for their right to peacefully protest.
Haines however added that protesters were effectively shutting down college campuses, with graduations and classes getting canceled in some instances.
Anti-war? So they support the side that began a war?

Never in my life (except with this issue) has calling for the destruction of a people been called “criticizing the policies of a government.”

The media can try to spin and ‘rebrand’ it any way they like, but that is not what is going on on the ground and not what the protestors are saying! And they are not peacefully protesting either.

Uhm…when you illegally take over a building and literally hold Maintenance / Housekeepers, against their will by barricading them in, that’s not called a “right-wing conspiracy or anti-war” That’s called, KIDNAPPING and the bums who did this should be tried as such! When you lock arms together and REFUSE ENTRY TO JEWISH STUDENTS FROM ENTERING CAMPUS, that’s called, “Violation of Civil-Rights” and the Pro-Hamas Thugs, who probably out-stayed their visas, should be tried for Federal-Hate-Crimes & DEPORTED! Years ago, when white students did this to prevent Black students from entering, the National Guard was called down & the Federal-Government cracked down on the Universities that allowed this. Oh & it was primarily, liberal and even some Frum Jews, who led the Civil-Rights movement in the 1960’s to ensure Blacks received a fare-share in America. But of course, everyone conveniently forgets that “little-known-Fact” when Jews are the primary target!
