Quebec provincial police say the summer camp was the site of a smaller fire last Saturday.
Investigators have yet to determine whether either of these fires were deliberately set, but say they have several clues that suggest arson.
They say it appears someone broke into one of the camp’s buildings over the weekend. [CP]

That blaze destroyed the home built last year in the Prefontaine sector of Val David. The building was owned by a member of the Satmar court of Hasidic Jews, who summer there.
Rabbi Hoffman is probably one of the most amazing and unique frum Montrealers’ out there. Everyday he helps people that no one else could. It is a terrible shame.
May he be Zoiche to have whatever he wishes.
It wasn’t a camp it was the house of Rabbi Hoffman from Ezras Choilem & another house belonging to another frum yid across the road. Camp Pardes Chana Lubavitch girls camp is a half a mile down the road.
Early Shabbos morning they doused the house with gas & ignited it but the paper delivery boy passed by & called FD they came fast and extinguished the flames. Last night they came again and finished the job, burnt to the foundation total loss.
so which camp is it?

C.B.B. in Lantier is definitely larger than Gan Israel, so your statement is wrong. However I would agree that Gan Israel is the largest “Frum” camp in (“the”) Canada.
Camp Pardas Chanah is a Lubavitch girls’ sleep-away camp located in Val David, in the beautiful Laurentian mountains of Quebec, about an hour’s drive from Montreal. Divided into two sessions of one month each, the camp welcomes approximately 150 campers per session.
