Bnei Brak, Israel – Zaka volunteers have announced a manhunt in the city today, as they search for a haredi youth, believed to be 13, who allegedly cut off the hair of at least seven young girls, ages 8-12.

According to witness accounts, the boy seems to carry a pair of scissors with him. Upon encountering a girl whose hair is in a ponytail – and after making sure the coast is clear – he grabs her head, cuts off her hair and runs away.

The girls' families, and other fearing their daughters' safety, called on Zaka to find the youngster, who was photographed in the act Thursday afternoon.
"So far, we know of seven cases," Motti Boskin of Zaka said. "We have volunteers tracking him down, and hopefully we'll find him soon… this isn't our normal line of work, but given the sensitive nature of the case, we're more than happy to help."

The Dan district police said only three of the girls filed official complaint and that an approach was made to the community leaders, asking the rest of the girls to come forward. [Ynet]

So according to you a person can say (or type things)yet his comments don’t represent his thoughts?!!?!? I don’t think so.

It’s safe to say that if you stated that my post was anti-semitic and misogynistic than you believe that I am too.

Also, how are my “comments” Anti-semitic?
Lastly misogynist if I remember correctly means anti women, what part of my “comments” where against women?

I too try to love every single Yid, I guess not everyone has the same sense of humour.

I make the following comment with repect and admiration to ZAKA and their work, but why should the money donated by the public be spent on searching for this boy? Isnt zaka supposed to do rescue and recovery? Aid at casualties and tragic events? people donate to them thinking that the money is going for those uses. why is it right to spend it on searching for this type of boy?

read posts very carefully before replying.
i stated your comment was anti-semetic and mysoginistic, not you.
ahavas yisroel requires that i love every jew; but i don’t have to agree or accept his inflamatory comment.
i chose my words carefully, as chazal say we should, you should do the same.

    To Anon. 3:45.

I am aware that frum women cover their hair.
I simply assumed that the poster was being sarcastic. You don’t really believe that someone could think that a crazy boy running around ATTACKING girls is normal and preparing them for marriage? Could you?
I was trying to “one up” the poster by hinting at the violent nature that this boy seems to be exhibiting.

I don’t know why I just explained all this to you, if you couldn’t get the “joke” the first time you most likely will not be able to get now either!!!
At least I didn’t call you names, or say that you are anti ……Torah, women, or whatever else your tiny brain comes up with ..oops.
    HeHehe.

    sad truth;

maybe he meant preparing for marriage by cutting their hair.
since your comments are obviously ignorant, anti-frum and anti-semtic i will explain to you that many religious women cut off their hair before their wedding. nothing violent or mysgynist, just a jewish minhag.

Obviously this boy has problems. Ans hopefully he will get the proper help needed. But where is compassion for the family, and the boy himself (and especially the victims)? Why the snide and sarcastic comments? Doesn’t anybody realize that none of us are guaranteed health, mental health included? That any one of our family members, or ourselves, can C”V snap? There is a family suffering because of this story, where is our rachmonus? Siyug lechochma shtika – how true!!

Watch some bozo reporter write a story along the lines that these actions somehow are representative of the whole community.

“an approach was made to the community leaders, asking the rest of the girls to come forward.”

Wouldn’t that cause busha to the family of the haircutter?
