The tragic boy's inconsolable parents – dad Brian Cohn and mom Karen – and his three siblings, along with their nannies, were at the Greenwich mansion when little Zachary died.
His dad is president of SAC Capital Advisors, a $14 billion global financial enterprise.

Police are investigating if a powerful filtering intake system at the deep end of the in-ground pool was missing a drainage cap and trapped the boy with its powerful pull. Cops said the boy was playing in the pool when someone noticed he was underwater.

Police were called but by the time they arrived, Zachary had been plucked from the water.
    He died at Greenwich Hospital.

A funeral service is being held today at the Temple Shalom in Greenwich. [NY Post]

when others suffer, we should help them and daven for them, when WE suffer, we should look into our actions and do teshuva

I don’t know what this comment was that everybody’s upset about because it was deleted, but I can imagine. It says in Sefer Iyov that Iyov’s friends were wrong when they tried to tell him that his suffering was because of his sins. That it not what you tell someone who is suffering. Maybe if people actually followed daas Torah, we wouldn’t have to be subjected to stupid comments.
