Borough Park, Brooklyn, NY +Another Bias Crime in Jewish Community+ Its not the first time in the last few weeks that bias and hate crimes occurs in the Boro Park section of Brooklyn around and right after the High Holy days.

Boro Park Shomrim Patrol, NYPD of the 66th Pct and the Detective Squad are all on the scene now on 60th Street and 18th Avenue for a swastika that was sprayed inside a house that is under construction. Councilman Simcha Felder is also on the scene and NYPD Hate Crime Squad are on the way.
The cops are loathe to classify any crime as “bias” for some reason. I think when they classify it as a bias crime it equals more work for them. They’s prefer to hang around eating donuts.
8:45PM: I used to work on 18th Avenue right near 60th Street. About 4 years ago, after yontif, we came back to a swastika on our front door. All the workers that used that door to access the building were frum. The police did not have any leads.
I hear that the Police were trying to cover this up and Shomrim together with Councilman Felder got the police to treat this as a bais crime.
I think we should just keep away and let the right authorities take their role!!!
