The charges, it was learned, are expected to trigger a new round of public hearings by the Senate Investigations Committee in mid-January, focusing on how electronic data are collected, retained and destroyed in the governor’s office
The claims were confirmed by Senate Investigations Committee Chairman George Winner (R-Elmira), who said, “We’ve been told about purged records from a number of different sources.
“We have received information that there has been widespread purging of computers in the governor’s office,” Winner said. [nypost]
