    New York – The Pentagon is seeking the death penalty for six Guantanamo detainees suspected of being involved in the9/11 terror attacks.

    The six detainees who will face numerous war-crime charges include Khalid Sheik Mohammed, the former al-Qaida operation chief who has described himself as the mastermind of the 9/11 attacks, Pentagon spokesman Bryan Whitman was quoted as saying.

    Whitman said the six men “have been involved in some of the most grievous acts of violence and terror against the United States and our allies.”

    He said the Bush administration has been preparing the case for several years.

    Just watch the ACLU and their ilk, coming out of all corners to decry the way they’re tried and sentenced. Never mind that they premeditated an action where more than 3,000 people died, at the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. And all the other terrorist actions around the world. Like the bombing of the Embassies and hospitals in Kenya and the bombing of the USS Cole, where many people lost their lives.
