NTT Communications stated that the smelly phone will go into testing shortly.
They stated originally that the technology was for indoor environments, to use aroma advertising to have digital signs send out smells.
This technology may also work remotely as well, allowing people to use their smell in the home or car.
They stated users will also be able to build their own smells, and share them in a smelly playlist of sorts.
This could open up a whole new means of cell phone messaging. If you are happy and wanto to cheer someone up, sned over a flower smell. [Itworld]
Will there be a button that smells like vomit? When your davening and some bozo is yapping on the phone next to you just send him the vomit smell. That would hopefully get anyone off the phone in shul.

How about the Shaaleh of Reiach B’sumim Shel Ishoo in Beis Hamedrash in middle of davening? Etc.
They used to say, “Say it, don’t spray it!”
Now the saying will be “Smell it, Don’t spell it!”
Just Imagine the new Shaalois to the Raabunim!
