Jonesboro, GA – A Jonesboro High School senior is being held in the Clayton County jail, accused of releasing pepper spray in a school hallway that led to the evacuation of all 1,400 students.

17-year-old Sh’lomo Yisrael is charged with disrupting a public school, disorderly conduct and reckless conduct.
Investigators were led to Yisrael by tips from other students. The suspect allegedly confessed and told police where they could find the pepper spray container.
Five students, a teacher and a paraprofessional had to be hospitalized for skin irritation. They were treated and released. [wsbradio]
