Liberty, NY – Liberty Police are on the scene and closed off North Main Street due to a robbery at the TD Bank North Branch.

Police are looking for an elderly black man wearing all black who told the teller in the bank that he had a bomb in his bag and demanded money, the perp fled on foot on Rt 52, with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Sullivan County Sheriff’s and New York State Police are also responding.
And they still have the chutzpah to say they don’t want any more religious developements in Liberty “because it will affect their quality of life” in the area.
They can be sure the chassidim won’t hold up their banks.
