Chicago, IL – WFTV-Channel 9’s Barbara West conducted a satellite interview with Sen. Joe Biden on Thursday. A friend says it’s some of the best entertainment he’s seen recently. What do you think?

West wondered about Sen. Barack Obama’s comment, to Joe the Plumber, about spreading the wealth. She quoted Karl Marx and asked how Obama isn’t being a Marxist with the “spreading the wealth” comment.
“Are you joking?” said Biden, who is Obama’s running mate. “No,” West said.
West later asked Biden about his comments that Obama could be tested early on as president. She wondered if the Delaware senator was saying America’s days as the world’s leading power were over.
“I don’t know who’s writing your questions,” Biden shot back.
Biden so disliked West’s line of questioning that the Obama campaign canceled a WFTV interview with Jill Biden, the candidate’s wife.
“This cancellation is non-negotiable, and further opportunities for your station to interview with this campaign are unlikely, at best for the duration of the remaining days until the election,” wrote Laura K. McGinnis, Central Florida communications director for the Obama campaign.
McGinnis said the Biden cancellation was “a result of her husband’s experience yesterday during the satellite interview with Barbara West.”

WFTV news director Bob Jordan said, “When you get a shot to ask these candidates, you want to make the most of it. They usually give you five minutes.”
Jordan said political campaigns in general pick and choose the stations they like. And stations often pose softball questions during the satellite interviews.
“Mr. Biden didn’t like the questions,” Jordan said. “We choose not to ask softball questions.”
Jordan added, “I’m crying foul on this one.”

The first interview where the democ”rat”ic ticket is being asked legitimate questions, and the american people should get legitimate answers.

It (the inability of Sen. Biden, the VP Cand.to answer the questions in a calm manner ) shows that he’s unqualified for the job. With all his experience, he shouldn’t have lost his temper. Instead, to the second [tough] question, he should have answered, that the USA is [firmly] the leader of the world, but “We have to earn our wings every day”!!!

I want to nominate this reporter babe to the cabinet or something like that! Great questions which of course the Osama Obama campaign wasnt interested in answering. Even the ones he answered were lies. Facts are that Obama wants to make an even bigger government which means he needs money for it which means taxes HAVE TO go up. He has already said AND VOTED on 42K anually to be worthty of tax increases. He wants to give money back to some 95% of the population but the facts are that of the 95%, less than half actually earn enough to pay taxes. This means he is giving FREE MONEY to people. I dont have a problem per se with the free money b/c I fall into that category but I also know that the few hundred that I could get isnt worth the tzar and agmas nefesh of his presidency.

Why doesn’t the McCain ask Obama, based on hiis ideas, why should a worker making 25,000 to 50,000 per year ever go to work when just working a few hours a week and filing a tax return they’ll get a BIG FREE check. FREE education, FREE food stamps, FREE housing and FREE medical care, and who knows what else Obama will feel itt’s JUST FAIR to give them?
It is a different story when the tough questions are asked. Then the canned answers don’t work. He clearly got flustered because she was not playing nice in the Democratic sandbox. I like her!!!!
Notice how all obama supporter comments are simple, without explanation (“dumb questions”), or just condensending without explanation (“vote for mcain if you want to stay in recession”- and that would be because?)

The problem is that the debates are not set up for that. It would make sense if they could ask each other questions like that. I beleive the last debate was sort of like that but you still rely on the lib moderator to ask the questions. It would make total sense for the debates to be just that… DEBATES.
You make a great point that is completely lost on the Obamaniks. If he is giving away all this money where is he getting it from. As I noted above, he wants to give money to people who are not paying income tax – not bec they are cheating its bec they are below the tax level. That would be called WELFARE to us but to him its part of the “spreading the wealth” which in simple terms means SOCIALISM.

Liberal Jews are idiots. I spoke with at least 10 people at shul today. They are all voting for Obama. They like the way he looks and talks. One woman is upset with the amount Sarah Palin spends on her wardrobe. Another said that she just doesn’t like the way McCain looks. Yet another, who makes over $250K a year, feels it is our social obligation to pay more taxes to help those less fortunate. Oh, and some education will help to encourage those who just sit around and pop out babies to get more welfare money to stop doing that. (I guess she probably believes in the tooth fairy as well.)

BTW, Joe Biden is a long-time member and current chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee. He is privy to a lot of classified information – pretty much the same classified foreign intelligence information the President and senior cabinet officials see. So why not enough of the media is asking him to define the comment is beyond me. Silly me. The medis is in the tank for B. Hussein Obama.

I’m not #17 , but this poster may be stating the opinion that shuls that do not fulfill the legal requirements to retain their tax-exempt status–that is, not endorsing specific candidates–should lose these benefits. Personally, I do believe that these laws have the effect of protecting minority religion such as ours, since the vast majority of religious institutions with tax-exempt status are Christian churches of various types.
Obama has campaigned for socialist Bernie Sanders. He’s good friends with Italian socialist (and one time communist,) Walter Veltroni. Obama even had Veltroni write the introduction to the Italian version of his book. According to the non-partisan National Journal, Obama is the most liberal senator, and Biden is the third most liberal. He’s a slick talking extremist.
As for McCain…. he may not be a socialist, but he’s got no grasp on economic fundamentals….

Those questions were parroting the lies the McCain campaign has been spreading for months. Biden’s answers were effective, and intelligent. His intolerance of her far right propoganda was laudatory. He certainly was more civil than McCain has been when pressed hard.

They are NOT lies. They are legitimate questions that the obamanation side does not want to address. We all heard Obama say he wanted to “spread the wealth.” We have heard Biden say that paying more taxes is patriotic. Biden is as most left wing libs are, stuck up elitist snobs.
