I just got a txt to say tehilim for Ben Tzion Tzvi ben Feiga. This it?
Steiner from Adar Ct.monsey.
Refuah shlima bemahara
he was hit by a very innocent himeshe lady driver h’ shuld help he should be well a very special person
Not blaming anyone. the driver was a Yiddish girl, and is surely very traumatized. That is a very dangerous spot. They just completed a curve in, so buses can safely pull to the side for passengers, but for some reason the hitch-hikers (mostly bochorim going to nearby satmar yeshiva at the old chareidim…) must stand and get off in middle of the street!!! and people cross, and cars exit the driveway to satmar as if this was in India…
Disaster waiting to happen.
Any up date dose any one know pls post
b”h out of operating room but please say tehilim he needs allot of rachmim please
Do we need weekly tragedies or will we start doing Teshuvah. First its people you don’t know, then your friends and family and if you still don’t wake up then its YOU on the stretcher. There’s no such thing as an “accident.”
WAKE UP PEOPLE!
I think we ought to get G&G to have those shiny yellow stripes put in those dark black coats. As most people thing its not necessary to wear the refectors!!!
Please keep up the tfillos. Not only for R’ Ben Zion but for the driver as well that she will be able to get through this and be able to be there when he bentches gomel. Amen!
Did he wear a reflector ?
Does anyone know how this man is doing in the hospital?
*Update* BH De Tfillos veren Niskabel! We hear BH good news from the hospital hope he’l wake up later 2nite IYH.
Can I know what is he’s last name
They just finished brain surgery and are very hopefull. Keep on praying!!!
“i think u whould not let ur girls drive around”
What an amhaortez to blame this tragdey on “girls driving around”. If you check data from the Higway Safety Institute, NYS DOT or simply call your auto insurance agent you would quickly discover that girls are much safer drivers than bochurim and pay lower premiums. This tragegy could just as easily have been the result of the victim jaywalking or not wearing some reflector at night. Wait for the facts before declaring this the result of girls driving and lets all wish a speedy recovery for the victim.
Please wear reflectors at night
severe traumatic brain injury, with a bascilar skull fracture and massive internal (brain) bleeding. arrived with very high intercranial pressure, for which they immediately drilled a hole in the brain to relieve the pressure, and later took him to surgery to remove immediate blood clots, etc.
also has may other injuries; broken shoulder and arm, etc. but the main in the kup. doctors say in the next 24-48 will be critical and they will get a better picture of what to expect. this was a very serious accident.
Hatzoloh did a top notch job. he was inside the westchester trauma unit in just over 30 minutes from the time he was struck, (who needs a chopper.. its a waste of time)
giving a car to a kid is like giving a gun and yes its not important for 16 and 18 yr olds to drve so please parents dont teach your kids to drive and if you do send them to the shooting range as well
There is no doubt that bochurim and men coming out of Chareidim cross and use Monsey Blvd like it’s a cul de sac with no thru traffic. And the percentage of those that wear reflectors is definitely less than half. I don’t know the details of this accident although I passed by on Maple and the investigation lasted at least 2 and a half hours while Monsey Blvd was closed. No doubt with the increased development, population and congestion these accidents are the predictable outcome of suburban growth – Steiner is actually in my opinion a victim of the growth the chassidim have pushed on all of Monsey. He is what they would call “acceptable collateral damage.”
He is called by many Bentzion Steiner.
The doctors stopped the bleeding and he showed some movement in his hand, verifying that his brain is working. They are afraid about his eyes, so they will keep him asleep for the next 12 hours.
Thanks everyone for saying tehilim, his situation really looked very bleak just a few hours ago.

Did this accident have anything to do with the construction on maple ave?
I realized the no turn on red sign was removed lately.
Dangures area!
to comment 30 please stop bashing chassiddim i thnk we hear more accidends rl in lakewood than any chassiddishe shetel just lets be be-achdus and pray and pray for the redemption soon
BTW
this accident happened in daylight so a reflector would not have helped and you may know that R’ Bentzon is always going with a reflector when its dark
he should have a full & fast recovery keep on saying tehilim
the way people drive is a reflection of their lack of middos, derech eretz, and kavod habriot in all facets of their life, only when u put them behind the steering wheel it becomes a real physical danger. it is an extension of the concept of no dina demalchusa which starts as disrespect to the government and continues as disrespect to obey traffic rules.

The poster didn’t mean to say that it was done on purpose. What he meant is that nothing happens by accident. It is all planned out by hashem bec we have sinned.
Rachmono litzlan. Refuah shelaime lchol cholei yisroel.
What special people these are. May all the zechusim they have accrued over the years really help them now.
I was there about 20 seconds after the accident before hatzoleh came it lookes very bad a man laying on the road next to the curb anxiously waiting for hatzulah it looked like 20 min but it was only 2 min the drive was very stressed asking me if he is responding I don’t think she is a young girl!!
Not refering to anything on this case but since we are talking baout accidents and prevention I would like to throw a few ponders out.
How many idiots walk behind vehicles that are backing into a oarking spot?
How many people jay walk?
How many people put their carriage out into the street as if your kids are human shields?
How many run red lights?
How many talk on the cell phone and or text while driving ?
how many people pull out of a psot without looking in the right direction and looking over the shoulder besides the mirror?
The list continues but these are simple things that 90 of of hemishe drivers don’t follow.
Pedestrians also are meshugah for not wearing relectors and for walki ng in the street.
A few weeks ago my car had to go in the shop and I needed to rent a car for a few days. As I was wearing a stocking cap and not a yarmulke, the insurance guy did not recognize me for a frum person. He told me not to rent from the Monsey car rental place…I think it was Enterprise or Budget….because they keep the most beat up and unreliable cars there because that is where the Orthodox get their cars and the Orthodox have a much higher accident rate than other people as they drive carelessly. I am not making this up. This really happened. And I think the insurance guy was telling me the actual policy of the rental place in Monsey.
Satmere shul in monsey is a disaster area. Not enough legal parking, not enough crossing lanes. And people think they are in their front lawn when crossing and weaving through traffic. Less than 10% wear reflectors. They should like monrow, no kid can go to school without a reflector sawn into their coats.(And people need to respect the handi-cap parking there too)
Does anyone have an update?
May he have a refuah shleimah.
I heard that today he is responding less then yesterday.
He still needs Rachmai Shomayim! Please pray for him!
