Jerusalem – The Supreme Court has rejected a petition requesting that Jews be enabled to offer the Passover Sacrifice this coming Monday, the eve of the holiday. Similar petitions have been submitted and rejected in recent years.

As was reported here on VIN News, the state attorneys asked for the Supreme Court to forbid Jews from bringing sacrifices on the Temple Mount.
The appeal to the court was a response to a petition from the Temple Mount Institute, which requested permission to bring a sacrifice on the Temple Mount prior to Passover.
The Temple Mount Institute argued that Jews are commanded to bring a sacrifice prior to Passover, and that by prohibiting them from doing so, the state was violating its own laws protecting freedom of worship.
State attorneys argued that the sacrifice would be a dangerous provocation of Muslim sensitivities. “Performing the ritual on the Temple Mount would deal a severe blow to public safety and security,” they said.
The sacrifice would be dangerous “particularly at the current time,” they said, apparently in reference to recent Muslim riots over the dedication of the rebuilt Hurva synagogue in Jerusalem’s Old City.
Muslim and Palestinian Authority leaders incited their followers to violence, claiming that the rededication of the synagogue was part of a Jewish plan to seize control of the Temple Mount.
In past years, the Supreme Court also ruled that Jews may not offer sacrifices on the Temple Mount due to the possibility of a violent Muslim response. The Temple Mount Institute has performed an educational demonstration of the Passover sacrifice instead.
Tuesday evening, a rally demanding “freedom of Jewish worship” on the Temple Mount was held in downtown Jerusalem.

Excuse my ignorance. I am an educated Bais Yakov girl, but I dont know these Halachos. Is this temple mount institute a reform movement, or is it frum?? I ask because are we allowed to bring korbonos before Mashiach comes?? I thought that we daven instead. Again, please dont call me names, I am asking this question because I would like to know.
How did they pasken the machlokes Rambam/Raavad concerning the gid hanashe? Is it cooked with korban pesach or not (Hilchos Korban Pesach 10:11)? Acc. to Rambam if you fail to cook it with the gid hanashe then its a psul and for Raavad the other way around – if you fail to remove the gid hanashe then its a psul.
This is ridiculous. Who gave these guys the OK to bring a korban anywhere, Har HaBayis or not??? Who gave these guys the right go on to the Har HaBayis?
Who is their Cohen?
Where is the Mokom Hamizbeiach?

Bikur Mumim?
Even if there is a chiyuv Bizman hazeh?

They just want to stir the pot, they very well know they don’t have the slightest clue how to perform the mitzvah kehilchoso. IMHO.
I guess if Moshiach comes we won’t need approval of Israeli Supreme Court..
On that theory, why not ban Muslim worship as it may cause violent reprisals by Jewish worshipers? Or, ban all worship as secular Israelis may deem them an affront to liberalism? Or, Ban secularism as some Chareidim may deem it insensitive to their well being and react violently.
Freedom of religion should never be a case of deciding which religion is free. Why not use the Sholomo Hamelech logic as they do at Meorat Hamachpelah and establish dual usage for the multaple religions?
I know no one will be pleased but that is what make it logical.
#3, they are frum. The question of whether or not we could/should bring a korban pessach nowadays is a matter of controversy. There is avery interesting teshuvo by the Chasam Soifer.

What I find amazing is how the Israeli Supreme Court (with its many shortcomings) uses the sensitivity to the Arabs as a justification for not allowing the korban pesach to offered. I dont think it should be halachichly done anyhow but it shows that the Israelis care about their neighbors and go to great lengths to be compassionate of the Arabs’ feelings. Would the Arabs even consider our sensitivities in any of their decision making?? I HIGHLY DOUBT THEY WOULD

You cannot bring a korban while in a state of tumas meis. Since there are no ashes from a Parah Adumah, and no no Bais Hamikdash or Cohen Gadol, the whole question is ridiculous. We are all in a state of tuma’as meis, which is one of the reasons why we do not go on Har Habayis. To pretend to bring a korban while not tahor is bizarre – a lav d’oraisa. These idiots are either seriously ignorant of Chumash and halacha l’maaseh, or they’re just trying to get some publicity so people will give them more money.
