Suffern, NY – A Lane Pomona man has been charged with after police say he was firing an air rifle at passing traffic on the Palisades Interstate Parkway.

Around 3:10 p.m. Aug. 27, Jonathan Ramirez, 20, was in his backyard across from mile marker 26 on the northbound side of the Palisades between exits 13 and 14, and fired the gun in the direction of traffic, troopers say.
The pellet broke out the back window of a car with four occupants.
Ramirez was charged with misdemeanor reckless endangerment and criminal mischief and released. Troopers are looking for information on any other cars that might have similar damage. Call Investigator Brendan Tumulty Jr. at 845-364-0200.
