New York – More than 50 leaders of Muslim organizations in New York City are defending plans by developers to build an Islamic community center near ground zero.

Members of the Islamic Leadership Council of Metropolitan New York gathered on the steps of City Hall Wednesday to call for a stop to religious intolerance.
They said the notion that Muslims shouldn’t gather or pray near the 9/11 site is “unethical, insensitive and inhumane.”
The group was joined by supporters including U.S. Rep. Charles Rangel.

I’m all for a mosque at Ground Zero. In fact, I think the mosque should be built at the top of the new Freedom Tower. This would be an insurance policy against another attack.
Hypocrites, no sense of decency or moderation. The Governor NY offers to meet with tthem and they refuse. Their finances are questionable but they care not. Their Iman is a throwback to Granada Spain and the expuslion of the Muslims that he wants to avenge and he still has the chutzpah to show his face in public and cry he’s a moderate. A pox on them all.

If they did, they would not even consider, building a mosque, 2 blocks away from where so many people were killed!!Maybe if they start building they will find remains?? What will they do then??
