Medvedev is in Jordan, where he also is chairing a religious ceremony at a site on the Jordan River where Jesus is said to have been baptized. A priest will splash Medvedev with river water in a symbolic commemoration of the baptism.
Medvedev held talks with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in the West Bank on Tuesday. He gave a political boost to the Palestinians by backing their claim to east Jerusalem as a capital and their demand that Israel must freeze all settlement construction before peace talks can resume.
On Wednesday, Medvedev told his Jordanian hosts that Russia feels responsible toward the Mideast peace process.
Shame on Medvedev Shame on Russia
What a chutzpah, why are they mixing in to israels’ private affairs?!!!
Yemach shemom!
Russia supports Arabs and Muslims because they (Russians) sell arms to them. They don’t really care about them, but they are playing nice to get their money. Look at what the Russians did to Muslims in Chechnya.
I once heard a lecture by the great Rabbi Berel Wein where he said “Antisemitism as we know it, for example ‘the blood libel, Protocols of zion, Pogroms, etc etc, are ALL Russian inventions. started by the Russian Czar ym”s.
Medvedev has jewish ancestry if im not mistaken..
One more proof that we Jews should side up and develop closer cooperation and better relations with the breakaway new independent nations of the former soviet union, such as Ukraine, Georgia, the Baltic Republics, Moldova, who are becoming more pro-Western, pro-American and pro-Israel/pro-Jewish both in their international and domestic policies, rather than with Russia, which remained basically communistic with its increasing neo-stalinism, anti-Semitism, and anti-Americanism. Look into the recent news stories and you’ll find doezens of examples.
True, we’ve had a lot of very serious issues with the Ukrainians and the Baltic nations in the past, but now with the changes in those countries it’s a good time to fix whatever is fixable.
Make Trans-Jordan a palestinian state as it once was before Jordan forced all palestinians out!!!
