Count-up clocks have been installed in meeting rooms at City Hall to help people keep track of how much time is passing. The hope is that meetings will become more efficient.
The Wall Street Journal reports that two of the clocks are in the office where Bloomberg works with his top staffers. Another one is in a conference room and a fourth is in the room where Bloomberg holds morning staff meetings. Another eight are expected to be installed.
Bloomberg spokesman Stu Loeser tells the Journal the clocks were paid for with private money.
I wish they did this by sheva brochis,
They should have it at the ends of weddings and by Mitzva Tantz. Stop the yakking and wasting other peoples time.
What next, a pedometer on every hip?
