New York, NY – New York Police Commissioner Ray Kelly went on Inside City Hall last night to discuss, among other things, his department’s controversial surveillance of Muslim businesses and communities unearthed by The Associated Press.

“We’re sort of under attack,” Mr. Kelly said, arguing the AP fostered a narrative that his department has done something illegal. “The AP has done over 30 stories. It’s pretty tough to go up against a wire service that has a certain template that it’s sticking to.”
“I would submit that they have not done their homework in terms of the Department of Justice Guidelines and the Handschuh stipulations. Right in there it’s authorized to do what we’re doing,” he added.
The NYPD should take legal action against the AP for Defamation and slander, this is the worst form of “character assassination”!
The NYPD deserves our full unwavering support, anyone that implies otherwise should be investigated for ties to the very people they are trying to defend…!
When the muslims prove to us by their actions they are truly “peace-loving” citizens of any society, surveillance will not be necessary. I feel very comfortable knowing they are being watched.
Any one reading the media on the shooting of a black teen in Florida would think the shooter was white. He is actually a Hispanic from a mixed racial family., but making it sound like it’s a story of a white gut shooting a black teeen makes for a better story.
KEEP IT UP MR KELLY – the US needs people like you – WE WOULD BE A BETTER & SAFER COUNTRY with you as our leader
People learn nothing from what happened in France.
