The DAILY BEAST (http://thebea.st/XdFesW) is reporting that sources close to Democratic donors have said that the 53-year-old mayor has already had discussions both face-to-face and over the phone within the past month regarding a possible run.

According to the Daily Beast, initial comments from the mayor’s office were vague, but within hours of the publication Emanuel’s press secretary, Tarah Cooper emailed denying that the mayor has “raised or entertained” the idea of of a White House run.

Cooper also included a photo of Emanuel’s handwriting on a piece of yellow legal paper vowing “not ever” to run “for another office.” It also reiterated Emanuel’s longstanding pledge, in his own words, that he’s “not interested. Not going to do it. No. I’ll do it in Hebrew: lo.”

Emanuel is the son of an Israeli doctor, and had dual citizenship until he was 18.

Sources close to Emanuel immediately offered skepticism.

Longtime friend and colleague, Democratic strategist, Paul Begala, said, “I talk to Rahm every single day, sometimes more than once a day, and he’s never said anything like that to me.”

Another longtime Clinton loyalist, James Carville, echoed Begala’s sentiment. “I never have heard something like that, and it’s not like I don’t talk to Rahm all the time,” said Carville.

Yet rumors continue to swirl, as a well-known Democratic politico told the Daily Beast, “i heard there were some conversations with donors especially during the inauguration.”

Biden is going to run on the next ticket- which will be a good thing.
The question is, will the Republicans be able to undo all the damage the current ‘progressive’ is doing?

He’s not gonna run but if he did, he would win big time over any Republican that would compete unless they have pictures of him doing somthing really, really bad and inappropriate. Right now, even Anthony Wiener could beat any Republican whose name was put on the ticket.

We should all daven that the fools running the RNC stand up to the Tea Party and all the other wing nuts and put up an electable candidate this time around.

Had John McCain chosen a normal, right of center running mate instead of the one he chose, he would be President McCain.

There will NEVER be a Jewish President of the USA. It was only quite recently that even so-called moderate news media outlets were blaming “Goldman Sachs”, for the financial crisis of 2008. There were other references made to certain executives on Wall Street with Jewish names. The implication was that the financial mess was caused by Yidden. If a Jewish President were elected, every conceivable ill in the world, would be blamed on Jews. Therefore, in the end, it would not be a good idea.
