Caracas – In a response aimed at clarifying that Caracas’ differences with Israel lie solely with its “policies,” and not the Jewish people, newly-elected Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro revealed that his grandparents were Jews who, like many others, converted to Catholicism after arriving in Venezuela.

Maduro claimed he is descended from a Sephardic Jewish ancestry, the same, he said, as Minister of Communication and Information, Ernesto Villegas.
JTA (http://bit.ly/14brMLe) reports that Maduro said he “rejects” charges leveled by Latin American Jewish Congress head Claudio Epelman that he, like Chavez before him, is guilty of fostering anti-Semitic sentiment towards Venezuela’s shrinking Jewish population.
Epelman aired the charges last week while at the World Jewish Congress Plenary Assembly in Budapest, Hungary.
Maduro said he is “sorry” to hear the charges leveled by Epelman, but insisted “We are not anti-Semites.”
Wow.
Maduro…Jewish.
Caprilles…..Jewish.
Villegas….Jewish.
Some of my best friends are Jews!
We should always remember “Krauthammer’s Law:” “Everyone is Jewish until proven otherwise.” This is a law that we’ve seen applied to Madeline Albright, George Allen, Vladimir Zhirinovsky, NATO’s Wesley Clark, and many others. As Krauthammer points out, even Castro claims descent from Marranos, and, considering his actions and words, it’s not unlikely.
“Nicolas Maduro revealed that his grandparents were Jews”
Yes. So were Torquemada’s and that rasha Karl Marx’s.
