The Texas Republican senator on Wednesday told students at Virginia’s Liberty University that they have a responsibility and ability to push back against President Barack Obama and his fellow Democrats, who are implementing a national health care plan that includes coverage for birth control. Cruz says the law unfairly imposes requirements on businesses and religious groups to provide access to contraception.
Cruz, a tea party favorite who is considering a presidential run in 2016, says students at the school Jerry Falwell founded have the power to change the country if they stand united against the government.
How about another idea for Ted, republican’s should challenge their obligation to pay school taxes, since it’s used to teach evolution.
What’s the difference between companies having to fund a policy that covers, between a million other things, certain contraceptives, and paying for school, which, in between other things, teaches evolution.
The answer is simple. Religious freedom is not about your right to impose your believe on others. and when you try to do it, don’t change the discussion an say, Oh, religious freedom is under attack. If you strike, others will strike back.
CRUZ is right. The evangelical cabal he now represents, (after being a Mormon and Catholic) believes this is a Christian nation, and Judaism is in the back of the bus. We’re only good for their apocalypse, to be destroyed in their end of times, when guess who comes back and saves their believers. We roast. Thanks Ted Cruz.
I like it. Someone who could carry the huge Latino vote.
He is right his father is a bigot, and we worry about embryos but let old lie in the excrements in nursing homes and most nursing have received an F from various sources for handling the “old” citizens. Let him pack up and go back to Cuba.
He father is devout “Evangelical” and suggested President Obama should go back to Africa. Cuba had a military dictatorship and nearly threw this country into a nuclear war because it was handed over to the communists . I t was a corrupt government run by thieves and the mafia. Yes Colonel Battista was a thug
Ted Cruz is an up and coming star in American politics. He will evntually be our President. Maybe not 2016 but in the near future.
He’s a staunch supporter of Israel and a very smart person. He happens to represent me in Texas but he makes tons of sense of most issues.
