The former Democratic presidential candidate addressed the looming recount in Wisconsin — and the prospect of others in Michigan and Pennsylvania — Sunday morning on CNN’s “State of the Union.”
Sanders says: “No one expects there to be profound change, but there’s nothing wrong with going through the process.”
Green Party presidential nominee Jill Stein is fighting for recounts in the three states there were critical to Trump’s win. Hillary Clinton’s team said Saturday it would join the effort.
Sanders also said he would support changing the electoral college system, which allowed Trump to win the presidency even though he trails Clinton by roughly 2 million votes nationally.
This recount saga magnifies the reason why Trump was elected.
We the people are sick of two sets of rules. The same democrat leaders who were fervently denouncing at the notion of challenging the election during the debates are the same people perpetrating the same.
I am a Democrat and I am disgusted.
Yeah, according to the democrat/liberal uber hypocrites, there’s on,y something Wrong with it when PE Trump wouldn’t commit to the election results if he felt they were rigged….then they maligned him, raked him over the coals, hillLIARy was “outraged,” and “horrified,” but when dems do it, “there’s nothing wrong with it. ” I don’t know how these mental misfits aren’t ashamed…guess they’re too stupid to realize how they look.
What a looser !!!
