Watch: Neighbor Tweets Her Appreciation Of Jewish Prayer Services Taking Place Outdoors

MONTREAL, CANADA (VINnews) — One of the more positive results of the coronavirus has been the sense of camaraderie between different segments of society facing the effects of the virus. Since prayers have moved from shuls to public places there has been an opportunity for neighbors to hear orthodox Jews praying and many of them express their appreciation for it in different ways. One such person is Jennifer Dorner,  a manager at the Office of Community Engagement at Concordia University as well as a board member of the Canada Council for the Arts.

Responses to Dorner’s tweet were overwhelming positive. Joseph Hurtado@josephhurtad wrote: “Wonderful! Beautiful voices praising Hashem” while Rani Cruz@ranic tweeted that: “The harmony is so perfect. When this is over, this is going to be one of the things I will miss about Covid times. I hope the Hasidic community knows how much their sharing of their prayers has helped us all. Thank you. Merci. Thank you.”

Jewish readers were touched by Dorner’s appreciation. Shimon R.@ShimonRol wrote: “Thanks for your friendship. People like you will save the human race.”

WHY!!!
When we are finally making a KIDDUSH HASHEM – do the comments have to turn into mudslinging & stupid comments.
Shuls are closed!! Yidden are davening on porches, lawns with mesiros nefesh.
Let’s appreciate it & hope we come out of this pandemic alive. Everyone”s most sincerest wish is for things to go back to way it was.
