REHOVOT (VINnews) — On Israel’s Memorial Day this year the government took the painful step of prohibiting families from visiting the graves of their loved ones due to the fear of a spike in coronavirus infections. Senior IDF officers were sent to all the military cemeteries to represent the parents, but United Hatzalah members from Rehovot gathered at the grave of a soldier in a civilian cemetery nearby and said memorial prayers for him.
