In a letter to Rabbi Moshe Rosengarten, the director of the Chareidi division of the Klalit HMO, Rabbi Zilberstein stressed that the fact that many countries have now chosen to adopt the vaccination gives it the authority of Beis Din, and should be taken even by healthy people based on the imperative of Ve’Rapo Ye’Rapeh, which requires taking medicines even if there is some risk involved.

Rabbi Zilberstein published his ruling after meeting with Prof. Dan Belitzer who leads the Magen Yisrael team involved in the vaccination program, as well as with other prominent doctors. He stressed that most doctors in the world agree that there is no danger involved in the vaccination and  added that despite the fact that the experimental stage was brief, since doctors understand how the vaccine works and recommend it, it should be taken..

Unfortunately, to those that will take it anyway he’s preaching to the choir, and to those who won’t it will fall on deaf ears.

All Doctors that are part of Establishment are counted essentially as one. They base their opinion on each other not individually. Same applies with Rabbonim too. So it only counts as ONE opinion which is the “if that’s what the establishment considers correct we go along”. When so called “Anti establishment ” say the opposite it only strengthens their position to say we won’t go along with “conspiracy theorists” or “anti establishment” opinions. This is unfortunately the world we live in, and the Evil people take advantage of it.

He is writing this in the Zionist paradise, which is in lock-down again. So the sakana of Corona, which he writes as a justification to ignore the “ktzas sakana” of the vaccine, may apply only in Israel.
