MDA paramedics gave medical treatment to the injured police and transferred them to Hadassah hospital on Har Hatzofim and to Shaarei Tzedek hospital.

MDA Paramedics Avi Schiff and Moshe Hemed said that “when we arrived at the scene the injured were fully conscious suffering from limb injuries. We performed checks and gave medical treatment to stop bleeding and sent them in stable condition to hospitals.”

Scuffles broke out between local Arab residents and police, who have closed the region of the attack to civilian entry.

It should be noted that both Rabbi Chaim Kanievski and Rabbi Gershon Edelstein have called on the religious public not to go to the Kotel Maaravi (Western Wall) on Shavuos this year due to the tense security situation.

The insanity of the Meron catastrophe showed that events in Israel are totally out of control. This contributed to the arabs feeling they could go out of control and ignore the authorities like the charedi do. If the crowd in Mea Sherim had missles they’d probably use them too.
