JERUSALEM (VINnews) — During the morning hours of Thursday, a Hamas anti-tank crew shot missiles at an IDF bus which was parked near the Gaza border. Meir Waknin, the driver of the bus said in an Israel Radio interview that “I dropped off the soldiers, turned around and then there was a direct hit. The entire vehicle shook, it was a miracle. About 30 soldiers disembarked moments before and took cover. I will continue to carry soldiers. Thank G-d nobody was hurt – the bus is not reinforced, its all plastic.”

The bus was bringing soldiers back to base from their positions and was travelling on roads which are not exposed to enemy fire but after the soldiers alighted, the bus left the base and reached an exposed area where it was hit by the anti-tank missile. Hamas published pictures of the direct hit on the bus.

Later the IDF published a clip of an aerial attack on the anti-tank crew in Beit Lahia which shot at the bus.
