JERUSALEM (VINnews) — In the last few days a new Mikve was inaugurated in Tehran, the capital of Iran, for the 8000-strong local Jewish community. The Mikve, which was built under the supervision of Iranian chief rabbi Yehuda Gerami, maintains all halachic specifications and stringencies and has a unique facility of purifying all the waters within ten minutes of each immersion.

In pictures from rabbi Gerami’s Twitter page, there are Torah verses visible on the walls of the mikve as well as a picture of Rabbi Ovadia Yosef Zts’l and Rabbi Kadouri Zts’l.
Local communal leaders say that they have freedom of religion and can perform all Mitzvot without any threat from any external source.

Tehran Mikve
His stand is to try to keep his people alive in a terrorist nation
Interesting that you forgot to mention that there is a photo at the Mikvah of the Lubavitcher Rebbe z’tl as well
It would be really nice if the pro-Zionist and anti-Zionist blocs would stop politicizing things as fundamental to all kosher Jews as a mikvah. If it’s a kosher mikvah, use it. If not, don’t. Tevilah is not a medina election.
Such a novel idea in such a cursed country !
This guy R. Geremi is an super anti-Israel in the worse kind, even outdoing some Nateri Karta bums. He hates the Jewish nation in Israel, as he is trying to keep yidden in Iran and feels some-kind of personal offense if they leave Iran.
No one who loves the Jewish people should use his Mikvah – it is an abomination to Hashem . Use the old kosher mikvah that everyone used till now.
