That’s because Biden did not choose her based on merit or qualifications, but based on skin color and gender.
When Justice Breyer retired, Biden pledged to choose a black woman, and in doing so, he likely disqualified about 90% of potential candidates.
Biden did the exact thing that liberals always lecture republicans NOT to do–choose someone based on skin color.
Biden is not only a hypocrite, he is a racist. In fact, if you look at this record, he’s obsessed with race, and his race-baiting has divided the country.
Biden has a long history of racist comments and divisiveness. When he launched his campaign for president, he accused Trump of being a racist,, and twisted Trump’s comments. Until Covid came along, that was one of his strongest campaign messages.
Here are other racist statements made by Biden:
“If you don’t vote for Joe Biden, you ain’t black.”
“Poor kids are just as bright as white kids.”
In addition, Biden sided with racist lawmakers in the 1970’s to oppose civil rights bussing legislation, a position which Kamala Harris condemned (at least until Biden chose her as a running mate).
I personally do not care about the skin color of justices, presidents, or any other position. I don’t care about diversity. As long as they are qualified.
Clarence Thomas has been an extremely positive member of the court. If you had nine Justices like Thomas, all black, I would be completely comfortable, despite the lack of diversity.
On the flipside, if the most talented justices were all white males, then they should be sitting on the bench.
The only thing that matters is merit.
Biden and other Democrats obsess over race. It is at the forefront of every decision they make. They see blacks as blacks and women as women. They cannot ignore those irrelevant details.
Clearly they are the true racists. They choose based on skin color, because skin color is the thing that matters most to them.
The most bizarre part is, Biden chose his VP Kamala based on race, and look how that turned out. Her approval ratings are even lower than Biden’s, which is hard to fathom. She has been a complete and abysmal failure.
One would think that Biden would have learned the obvious lesson.

She is extremely qualified and she happens to be black. Her record and experiences are better than all three judges that Trump put on the court. Do your research.
It works both ways.
After Oscar Strauss was the first Jew appointed to the cabinet Teddy Roosevelt was giving a speech. He went on and on how he didn’t appoint Strauss because he was Jewish but because he was the best American for the job.
Meanwhile during the long speech, Jacob Schiff dozed off. When the speech was over a reporter approached Schiff for comment.
Schiff who hadn’t really heard the speech said, “Teddy called and told to me to get him the best Jew I could find.”

So in other words, the top ten percent could not possibly, or even likely, include a black women. That’s flagrantly racist.
And the appeal to Thomas is like saying “I’m not racist, some of my best friends are black”.
It’s a false argument launched from a false premise.
The author seems to think there is somehow always some one person who is the only uniquely best qualified and that by choosing a black woman you exclude that somehow only uniquely best qualified candidate.
In fact there will usually be more than one at the top, each stronger in one way or another than the others and any choice you make will be a matter of preference.
And then to say your list of most qualified does not include a black women as if by nature, is simply and grossly racist.
The author puts his agenda first and then parrots gibberish to try rationalize an ill conceived and dishonest position.
Please… this is a brilliant, highly qualified woman, regardless of race. And I say this as a confirmed ex-Democrat.
Ronald Reagan appointed judges specifically because they were women.
It isn’t unheard of, and to say she’s unqualified (I know the article says “He isn’t saying that” but 1) I’m responding to the commentators who said she isn’t and 2) yeah, read between his lines) because you disagree with her judicial philosophy (Which I do as well) is disingenuous. Saying that since she’s had decisions overturned that disqualifies her is utterly dumb, since practically every judge has.
African Americans are 20% of the American population at minimum, and women are 51%. This is nothing but an attempt at representative democracy, something that we are supposedly in favor of. And this candidate is one of the most qualified we have seen in a long time, compared to some recent Supreme Court appointments who have never tried a case nor distinguished themselves with their writing, but were selected merely for their “conservative” credentials.
Clarence Thomas has asked around 5 questions from the bench since being appointed. That’s qualified? You like him because you have to as a dutiful Republican. I am sure you would have a differing view if he was appointed by Jimmy Carter

Writing an article to incite race hate is racist. Choosing an imminently qualified Judge who is a Black Woman, to overturn the fact that Blacks were here since 1619 and never had a Black Woman on the Supreme Court is OK BY ME.

A thoroughly uneducated piece. Presumably, the “racism” claimed by the author would be racially-based exclusion of whites. When all but three members of the Supreme Court have been white, it is unsupportable to suggest that whites face discrimination as candidates for the Supreme Court. Judge Brown Jackson is a graduate of Harvard; the author clearly is not.
and she is unqualified.
It’s not racist because racism is now defined by which political side is doing it. Straight up discrimination and segregation is allowed as long as it’s done in the name of anti-racism. Just like it’s not misogynistic to put males ahead of females in women’s sports.
If one googled her record as brief as it is you will find a judge over turned more times then not. As per her brilliance well she’s black and presentable as per Biden
I thought the high court dirt highly competent people regardless of the race creed and religion.
