The dramatic news was publicized after the case has been high profile in Israeli media in the last few weeks, with almost daily interviews with Moishy’s family and intense searches conducted in the Meron region. Police have now arrested a person who is suspected of having molested Moishy as well as attacking and threatening him. The suspect may be linked to Moishy’s disappearance over three months ago.

Gag order request by police

Police requested that all hearings take place in closed courtrooms with no media access to details of hearings. The gag order was issued Tuesday morning.

A report on social media claimed that a man had seen Moishy praying at Rachel’s tomb. Police are verifying the basis for the report.
