Boruch Hashem, Rav Reuvain Feinstein Shlita was released from the hospital this past erev shabbos, arriving home at 6:00 PM.’

Rav Reuvain went in for routine surgery but developed complications related to low blood pressure.  The complication is called, “intraoperative hypotension or IOH. It generally references low arterial blood pressure or (AP).  common in patients having non-cardiac surgery under general anaesthesia. IOH occurs during surgery but it can occur after a general anaesthesia before a surgical cut. It is relatively rare, but it happens.

His tehillim name is Shalom Reuvain Ben Shima [not Sima, but Shima].

Rav Reuven Feinstein is the youngest of the four children of Rav Moshe zatzal and the only one to be born in America.

His wife, Rebbitzen Shelia or Chava Sara passed away on 28 Av – on August 8, 2018.    His son Rav Dovid Beinish is the Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshiva of Staten Island and his father Rav Reuvain still gives shiurim.

Sima and Shima are the same name, just different pronunciations of it. As is known, in some places, at certain times, the s sound was pronounced as sh (and vice-versa).
