Aryeh Wolf z”l, a young man with a wife and child, was senselessly shot and killed in broad daylight while working on the roof of a home in Washington DC.
The African American murderer did not take any of Aryeh’s belongings, which proves the motive was not robbery.
Avery Miller, the murderer, was caught on tape holding the weapon, fleeing the scene. Yet it took the police over a week to identify him. It’s been several weeks since the murder, yet police have not tracked Miller down.
This is disgraceful and inexcusable, and DC Mayor Muriel Bowser is to blame. Miller is roaming the streets, an extremely dangerous individual. What is Bowser doing about it?
She has never made a single public statement about this horrific crime or the murderer who remains at large. Yet she has found plenty of time to play politics and focus on issues that do not fall under the mayor’s purview.
Bowser, a radical leftist, has allowed crime to surge and criminals to walk while she focuses on Trump, Covid, and other political issues, while ignoring her actual responsibilities as mayor.
Recently, she’s been busy complaining about illegals in her city. Rather than blaming Joe Biden for allowing millions of illegals into the country, along with her own radical “sanctuary policies”, she is at odds with the governor of Texas, whose state bears the brunt of illegals and gets no federal help.
Bowser has announced that students 12 and older must show proof of vaccination against COVID to continue learning in-person at public and private schools this coming year. Schools will not provide remote learning for students who are unvaccinated.
Bowser gained national attention in 2020 when she ordered a block of 16th Street leading up to the White House emblazoned with “Black Lives Matter” in bright yellow paint.
In the past months, there has been a surge in crime in Washington DC. There was an increase in homicides reported last month, up 12% since the same time last year. Violent crime and burglary have both risen five percent from last year. Robberies are up 20 percent and car thefts up three percent.
Washington D.C. police named Avery Miller, 27, as the suspect who is believed to have brutally murdered Aryeh Wolf in the unprovoked attack. According to ABC 2 Baltimore, Miller had previously spent time in prison for assaulting a police officer.
“We want everybody looking for this individual. This person is armed and dangerous,” said Capt. Kevin Kentish of the Metropolitan Police Department in Washington.
Al Maresca, deputy marshal with the U.S. Marshals Service, said: “Miler already had a warrant out for failure to appear. This guy knows he’s a fugitive. He’s on the run. He has no qualms about pulling a gun on someone and taking his life.”
It has been nearly four weeks since the murder took place. The murderer is on camera in plain sight and has been known to police for some time.
It is simply inexcusable that he has not been found. One wonders, if this had been a white man who gunned down a black victim, if the mayor would ignore it. More than likely, there would be a city-wide manhunt and the gunman would be located in a matter of hours.

The (in)ability of our nation’s capital’s ability to enforce the law locally should also be noted. Currently the forensic crime lab has an “Interim Director” who was previously the Chief Administrative Officer for the Department of Public Works.

She is too busy complaining about the illegal aliens bussed to her sanctuary city.
Chances are that this perp with a shave and a haircut has fled the DC area for another local. Doubtful that he’s still in DC.

What you need is something like the shomrim or Samira groups. A group of highly intelligent religious Jews who can investigate and trace killers and criminals who attack our people. They can then give the information over to the police. Someone I knew used to collect information on Arab groups after they bombed the World Trade Center the first time. He collected the Garabage from Arab centers etc. He then had a jewish guy who was fluent in Arabic translate everything. Eventually he turned everything over to police intelligence. You need a good catchy name and let people call in information they may get.

The issue is that a killer is on the loose, not the Mayor’s politics, or, Biden, or Trump. Gun violence is also the issue with 40,000 gun murders every year with 80% unsolved. Something is very wrong.
