JERUSALEM (VINnews) — Haifa police received a complaint Tuesday from a 36-year-old resident of the city who claimed that another driver had thrown stones at her car. The woman said that she had overtaken a motorcyclist and the suspect, who was angry at being overtaken by her, waited near a traffic light and threw a stone into her car, smashing the back window. The suspect continued to maul her car with his motorcycle, causing significant damage.

When the hapless woman got out of the car and tried to record what the suspect was doing, he tried unsuccessfully to grab her cellphone.
Police used advanced technology to locate the motorcyclist and arrested a 23-year-old Haifa resident on suspicion of perpetrating the criminal acts. On Thursday morning police requested to extend his remand and the court extended it until 9.11.22
