The attack occurred in Husan, an Arab town across the road from Beitar Illit.
According to the victim, who appears to be Charedi, he and his son went to Husan to pick up a vehicle at an Arab’s car repair shop. They were assaulted by about twenty Arab rioters.
The stone hit the father’s head, and the son quickly helped him escape further injury.
The victim was evacuated to Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem, where he was treated with five stitches.
Not the smartest thing to do , walking into an Arab village is putting yourself ,and your kid at risk of being killed or gravely wounded
I hope he has a refuah shalaymeh and I HATE to this but his blood is on his own conscience he could’ve been killed and his kid and it would have been his own fault like suicide
Please don’t go into Arab villages until we throw them all out of Israel.
Will the Israelis ever learn that it’s a matter of life or death doing business in Arab villages?
There is only one thing they understand A bloody nose If you don’t fight them challenge them they will continue
Aha. And the Intermarried Thomas Nides has a problem with Ben Gvir. I hear.
Normally hundreds of Jewish residents of Beitar enter Husan daily. At the time I entered security forces had not published any warning of any dangers of entry. Only after the incident of Motzi shabbas have they decided to recommend to avoid entering the village at this time. However, even now, the security forces have not forbidden entry to Jews. Most likely after Succos the security forces will change their recommendation to full approval of entry. If you want to own and drive a car, you need to maintain it; you need a garage that can maintain it. In the area of Beitar, you will find one out of a thousand mechanics are Jewish. It’s simply not possible to maintain the thousands of cars of Beitar residents without depending on Arab mechanics.
The rabbonim of Beitar have ruled that halachicly it is permitted to enter Husan or forbidden depending upon the recommendations of the security forces. One can cross the street in Beitar and get run over by a bus, one can eat a kosher sandwich, and choke on it and die. Just because there is a possibility of danger doesn’t make something forbidden. Claiming that I am at fault for entering Husan is simply motzi shem ra berabbim. Erev Yom Kippur. There’s still time to do tschuva. At the time I enterered Husan it was completely permissible according to the rabbonim of Beitar.
Perhaps you don’t realize the situation completely.
Since Husan is not within Israeli jurisdiction, they pay no taxes and everything is much cheaper.
Families are always looking for ways to save.
The only problem is
You may lose your life
It seems like a lot of israelis take their cars to Arab towns for repairs. This is not the first time this has happened.
BTW Had I not gone there, the next Jew to enter (a few minutes later) would have been their victim, and it likely would have ended much worse. The police should be thanking me for alerting them. Instead, they arrested me on suspicion of being “an accomplice to the felony of bringing a motor vehicle to a repair shop in palestinian territory”. They booked me and finger printed me, and took my mug shot, and forced me to sign papers (illegally oligating me amongst other things to forbid me from entering any palestinian territory for the next 30 days), and I was threatened several times of being handcuffed, locked up, and brought to a judge. Yemach Sh’mam.
